1 month and 1 week holidays on the East cost

hello dear friends,

How are you ?
I am fine ! I had such great holidays on the East cost !
I left Brissie on September, 15th.
I travelled by Greyhound bus.
I slept at hostels or in tents and even on a boat !
I have met great new people !
I spent 20 days with my best Canadian friend : Jasmin ! MISS YOU !
I took hundreds of pictures !
I am broke now :(
I really enjoyed my time !!!!!
Here we go !

1 stop : Noosa
6 days
A small resort town
Lovely place
I saw a wild koala in Noosa National Park and some surfers !
I went to Eumundi market where you can find hundreds of stalls with everything !
I did a canoe tour for 3 days !
I swam in the Pacific ocean !!!!
I travelled with Jenna, my Finnish friend and factory coworker !
I met 3 nice French ! Hi Aurélie, Sylvie et Jérôme !

2nd stop : Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island
5 days
I loved Fraser ! It is the biggest sandy island in the world !
I did a 4WD self-safari with 10 people.
We slept in tent.
We enjoyed the stars at night and the shining plancton on the beach !
I saw sharks, dolphins, wales, jellyfish, turtles, eagles, Manta rays and dingoes !
I was surrounded by sand !
I enjoyed the sunrise and met nice German girls Nathalie and Julie !
I travelled with Jenna and raisa, another Finnish girl !
I did a chopper tour on a bike ! I almost fell several times ! I was too slow then too fast !

3rd stop : Agnes Water and Town of 1770
7 days
I loved the place and that's where I met Jasmin, my Canadian friend, I travelled with !
I discovered where James Cook arrived in 1770 !
I had my first surfing lesson for the cheapest price ever in Oz ! I haven't stand so far :( But I won't give up !!!!!!!!
I was seasick on a day tour on a boat to Lady Musgrave Island :(
However I saw big turtles, mantas rays and reef sharks !
I enjoyed doing nothing with nice people !
I played pool and ping pong ! I am worse...
I saw a snake in a street ! Thank you Jasmin !

4th stop : Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays
4 days
I liked the trip on Tongarra boat !
The food was lovely and the people nice.
I snorkeled for the first time and saw the reef and some fish without my glasses.... So I couldn't see everything but it was already nice !
I slept on the deck and was seasick ! Hourra !!!!!!
I swam at Whitehaven beach ! That was great !
I saw some nice sunset !
I dislike Airlie...

5th stop : Townsville and Magnetic Island
2 days
I saw rock wallabies and possums !
The beaches are really nice !
I was alone there, no traveller with me.

6th stop : Mission Beach
3 days
I met Jasmin there again.
I swam for the first time in Aussie swimming pool and twice !
I had a free barbecue !
I met the great Sheffield team, Vikky and Judith !

7th stop : Cairns (few hours) and Port Douglas
4 days
With Jasmin, we stayed few hours in Cairns waiting for the shuttle to go to Port Douglas.
We had a drink with Vikky in Cairns, saw the lagoon.
Then in Port Douglas, a resort town, we had a thinking day...
I booked my flight to Melbourne !
We walked and visited the place.
I saw a Pikachu van !
I enjoyed the road because you can see the rainforest meets the reef and the sea !
I had a movies night ! I watched The bank job (good) and 21 (not a masterpiece at all).

8th stop : Cape Tribulation
3 days
I met the Sheffield team again and stayed with Gemma and Rob !
I enjoyed the ancient rainforest !
I saw my first wild croc (4 meter long) !!!!!!
I saw 2 pythons on the Daintree river !
Nice concert and nice barramundi at the restaurant at the beach hostel !
Mosman gorge was nice and the ice crean good !
I loved the place !

9th stop : Cairns
4 days
Ash's birthday party was really good !
We danced in a pub in Cairns with the Sheffield team, Jonas and Anders, the 2 Swedish guys !
I swam a lot at the hostel because the swimming pool was huge : more than 30 lenghts and then 20 ! I am proud of me :)
I have discovered New Zealand ice-cream shop ! Thanks Gemma ! I love it !
Lazy day at the lagoon !

I said goodbye to Jasmin and Vikky ! :(
So sad ! But we will meet again somewhere !!!!!!
They flew to Darwin and I to Melbourne !

My holidays are over for the east coast...
I spent too much money but I enjoyed what I did !
I met such great people !
I did crazy things !
