Moreton Island and the dolphins

Hello dear reader

On September, 8th, 2008, I turned 30. I took a dayoff and went to Moreton Island. I was well-dressed ;) and ready to go on a boat...
The day was wonderful, sunny and great !
I met a really nice Japanese girl, Kimiko. We spent the day together and had such a fun !
The sea was blue, green and shiny. I couldn't swim because the water was too chilly for tha but I had my swimsuit !!!!!!
For lunch, I chose prawns. However, the restaurant ran out of them so I ended up eating a big burger !
When tea time happened I ate a lovely caramelized macadamia tart with a cup of tea !
Some birds were there like kookaburras and pelicans.
The best part of the day was the sunset on that beautiful beach and the dolphin feeding program.
Every year, wild dolphins come to that beach to be fed by people.
If you are lucky enough, you might be touched by a dolphin like I was !!!!!
Tango, a female dolphin, appeared to be hungry and jealous of another dolphin, so she kept pushing me ! The skin is quite soft I must say. Dolphins are pretty big !
So we saw dolphins and a baby, a small shark too.
It was such a great day !

I did something amazing and special ! I went on a boat ! I spent my day at the beach !
I took lovely pictures !
I caught a cold because the water was cold and smelt fish the whole way bach but it was thousand times worth it and next time I hope I will swim with one of those wonders of the ocean !
